Incredible African Adventure – Perfectly Organised
We’ve just returned from a 5-week African adventure that was arranged by Travel Africa Your Way — and it was genuinely one of the most meaningful travel experiences of our lives. What amazed us most was how seamlessly everything flowed, especially considering how little lead time we had to put this trip together. Every lodge, every connection, every detail was handled with care and felt thoughtfully curated. We felt supported the entire way through and never once stressed about logistics, which allowed us to simply be present and enjoy each moment. We’ve already recommended them to others we met along the way — and would book with them again without hesitation.
Unforgettable African Experience
My partner and I recently got back from a self-drive roof top tent camping trip through Namibia and Botswana planned by Travel Africa Your Way. It was such an incredible experience and everything went seamlessly because of the planning and itinerary that Chris and Sandie put together for us. They listened to what we wanted, gave us options and suggestions, pulled together an amazing itinerary and were very communicative. The communication and information provided prior to the trip was amazing. There was even an app that had our detailed itinerary and all documentation saved within it. This took the stress of traveling in a foreign country away. We have already recommended them to numerous people who have been talking about going to Africa. And we have already been speaking to Chris about planning our next trip back there! I can’t recommend them enough.

Southern Africa Surprise
We spent a month in Africa during September on a bucket-list trip. The Southern African portion was organised by Travel Your Way in Hornsby, in conjunction with our travel agent John Gazal, and we couldn’t have been happier with the result. The itinerary, accommodation, transfers, safaris, and overall organisation were all excellent, and every arrangement ran seamlessly It’s hard to pick a favourite between Cape Town, the South Africa road trip, the Okavango Delta, and Victoria Falls. The birdlife, animals, scenery, food, and wine all exceeded our expectations. We can highly recommend Travel Your Way for anyone planning a trip to Africa and would gladly use them again. It was also very reassuring to have Australian contact numbers to call in case anything went wrong.

Chris Knows Africa Inside Out
We just came back from South Africa and it was definitely one of our best holidays ever! Pretty much everything was organised by Chris from Travel Africa Your Way, who was absolutely brilliant, super organised, patient, quick to reply, and really knows Africa inside out. I was not sure about the Tau Lodge but he assured me it would be our best option. And he was right! We’ll definitely book with him again for our next trip (Tanzania and Kenya are now on the list!).

16 Day Ultimate Southern Africa
Every aspect of our journey worked like clockwork. From the time of booking, the staff were tremendous to deal with. Chris has been brilliant. Great communication and very efficient. We were met at every part of our journey by friendly staff for airport transfers and it was excellent. The Safari tours and guides for our next 3 different locations, Sabi Sands in Kruger, Chobe National Park and Moremi Crossing, Okavango Delta both in Botswana, were exceptional. The Safari drives with Sabi Sands and Moremi Crossing, our favourites. So many different animal sightings and of course the big 5 were often sighted at all 3 places, the lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and African buffalo. Victoria Falls, the largest falls by width and height did not disappoint, although only 30% capacity when we were there, were still incredible. An optional helicopter trip over the falls is highly recommended. Would definitely recommend this tour.

5 days in Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park
Thank you to Jeff and to the team at Travel Africa for arranging an amazing 5 days in Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park. Your recommended accommodation and activities arranged for us were exactly what we asked for. I was a little hesitant using an online travel company but I would have no hesitation recommending Travel Africa to family and friends or anyone wanting to embark on an African adventure.

Botswana & Victoria Falls 2025
What a great experience we had dealing with Chris at Africa Travel. From day 1 till the end of our holiday, everything went like clockwork. Accommodation in both Botswana (Chobe Elephant Camp) & especially Victoria Falls (Victoria Falls Safari Lodge) was exceptional including all the transfers and flights. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Africa to use Travel Africa.

Zimbabwe and Botswana
Hi Chris and Sandie, We absolutely loved our trip. The transfers were on time, the activities were great, both the safari aspect in Botswana and the adventure activities in Victoris Falls (although we did skip the Dusty Road experience simply because we at that time or a little sick of transfers I wanted to walk and just be with the four of us. The falls were easy to self-navigate. The white water rafting in July is much tamer that it is in August and September, so letting clients know that may also be useful. I nearly didn’t book it for me because I thought it would be quite wild, but it was really relatively tame considering the way they play up the grade 5 rapids in the descriptions. When we were on the water, the guide explained to us why, and we only did half of the river not the full river because of the water level difference between July and late August. Thanks again for creating a seamless experience for us.

Amazing Safari Experience in Tanzania!
Chris and Sandie planned the most amazing safari adventure in Tanzania for us — everything went smoothly and felt so personal. Highlights included a surprise sundowner for our 60th birthdays, a magical sunrise hot air balloon over the Serengeti, and joyful birthday singing, dancing, and gifts from the wonderful staff at Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw and Aurari Camp. Our guide James (from their partner Albatross) was outstanding — knowledgeable, kind, and passionate. And the wildlife… incredible! Nearly 100 lions, hundreds of elephants, and thousands of wildebeests and zebras. Highly recommend Chris and Sandie — they go above and beyond to make your safari unforgettable.

Self Drive Namibia
We planned to do a self-drive tour in Namibia. We found Travel Africa on the internet and from the start, we had great service from Chris, he regularly kept in touch with us to let us know progress of our booking. Once we arrived in Namibia everything worked perfectly. Our vehicle was delivered to our hotel and the rep from the local company met us and gave us a thorough briefing on our trip. The vehicle (4×4 Hilux ute) performed brilliantly on the mostly well corrugated gravel/dirt roads. All the accommodation was first rate and the memories of wildlife we saw will stay with us forever. Would thoroughly recommend Travel Africa.

Fantastic trip to Africa

Botswana trip
Chris planned an amazing trip in Botswana for my partner and I. Amazing African getaway
We have recently returned from a few weeks in southern Africa. We found Travel Africa Your Way on the internet and took the plunge knowing we did not want a to be part of a group tour but needed guidance in order for us to travel independently in this part of the world. Chris was the easiest and most knowledgeable travel agent to deal with. He really understood our needs and the type of experience we were looking for. The accommodation choices he put to us were wonderful. But in the end, it was the detailed information, the seamless transfers and fantastic communication that made this trip one to remember. Flawless trip from start to end!
Chris and crew did an amazing job putting together our itinerary! The safari was wonderful (we were super lucky too that we saw ALL the animals on our bucket list)! Kruger Gate Hotel was perfect – the transfers, flights and all arrangements were flawless. Brilliant Grand Botswana Mobile Camping Safari
The Okavango Delta in Botswana has been on my Bucket List for years and in March 2025, I went on the most fabulous camping safari there. I wasn’t sure where to start with my plan which also included visiting family in Namibia, re-visiting Victoria Falls and stopping over to see family in Perth. So, I turned to Chris & Sandie at Travel Africa Your Way who came up with an excellent itinerary. They had previously organised a trip across South Africa for me so I was confident they would have some good recommendations. I did a 10 days/9 nights Grand Botswana tour which included the Moremi Game Reserve, the Mababe Concession and Chobe National Park. We saw so much wildlife up close, and we were very well looked after in camp. Chris & Sandie also put together my complete itinerary which included flights from Sydney to Windhoek, Maun, Victoria Falls and Perth, transfers and activities for Victoria Falls. I can highly recommend the services of Travel Africa Your Way.

Perfection!
Travel Africa did an amazing job helping us plan our ‘once in a lifetime trip’ – so good in fact that it will have to be more than once, and we are already thinking about when we can ask Chris and Sandie to start helping us plan our next trip to magical Africa. We spent our time in South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe and the trip was incredibly well planned and stress free – we couldn’t criticise a single aspect of the holiday and there is absolutely nothing we wished we’d done differently. There are so many options to choose from that a trip to Africa can seem overwhelming but Chris and Sandie listened to what we were looking for and put together the perfect itinerary for us, and we cannot thank them enough. Self drive in Namibia
This was our second trip organised by Travel Africa. We were a bit apprehensive as this was only our second trip to Africa and we were doing a self drive tour through Namibia. Everything was well organised, we stayed in some fantastic accommodation, the guides and the game reserves we stayed at were outstanding and the amount of wildlife we encountered surpassed our expectations. The self drive component was exactly as Chris had advised and we felt very comfortable throughout the holiday. We would recommend Chris and Travel Africa without any hesitation.

Review of Travel Africa and Chris
Chris at Travel Africa organised our itinerary in a way that exceeded our expectations of a travel provider and gave us confidence in our holiday. From the very beginning of our enquiries, it was clear that Chris’ passion for Africa and good customer service exceeded that of other travel providers we also reached out to. In addition, Chris’ experience traveling in Africa with young children gave us comfort that the options he put together for our two children would be suitable. Chris put together a custom itinerary that met all our criteria and within budget, and provided a clear rationale. Chris tailored a holiday to suit our likes, wishes and budget. Planning a trip to Africa can seem overwhelming due to the number of options, but Travel Africa made it easy. In addition, Jeff provided us with assistance towards the end of the planning process and during our trip which was timely and very helpful. First Trip to Cape Town, SA.
Chris & Sandie were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable in regards to our recent – 29/6 to 8/7 2024 – trip to Cape Town, SA. Their selection of hotels and tours offered perfectly suited our budget and time we had planned for our stay, as well as enough free days to rest/wander. The hotel we chose – The Portswood – is ideally located in the central tourist area close to the V&A Waterfront, a very safe area with plenty of food, shopping, entertainment and transport options. For first-time travellers to this part of the world, we have no hesitation in recommending their services. My wife and I had a marvellous time.

2024 South Africa holiday
Chris & Sandie at Travel Africa are amazing. We had many changes (over 4 years) due to Covid and personal issues but they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We covered nearly 3000ks of Sth Africa, Johannesburg, Kruger, Lapalala & Madikwe and had the most amazing trip. Chris & Sandies knowledge is amazing and our trip went without a hiccup. We couldn’t recommend Travel Africa highly enough and infact are planning on having them help us with our planned trip back in 2026 which will include Tanzania for the great wildebeast migration. Exceptional Experience
Chris at Travel Africa helped organise a very memorable holiday that exceeded our expectations. Chris organised a fly in and fly out stay at an excellent lodge in the Okavango Delta, followed by a 6 night fully assisted camping experience through the Chobe National Park ending with a wonderful 3-night stay at beautiful lodge Victoria Falls. Each part of the trip provided us with a different and exciting experience, we absolutely loved the lodge experience but also loved the outdoor camping adventure. Each location provided us with exceptional animal viewings, and we were able to see more than we had hoped. All the lodges / local providers he booked provided A+ service. Chris was able to tailor a perfect holiday to suit our likes, wishes and budget. Everything was planned perfectly, and the entire trip went off without any issues. Travel Africa organised a superb holiday for us and we would highly recommend Chris and Travel Africa.

Awesome trip designed by experts in the field of African holidays!
Dear Chris and Sandie,We just wanted to say thank you for all your help organising our holiday! We had an absolutely awesome trip! Im sitting here trying to whittle down my 1000 plus photos into something more manageable..I have to say, being used to “Africa time” I was expecting to be the occasional hiccup as we went along – but every transfer, every appointment happened as planned. The Bushlore vehicles were great and each lodge recommended was spectacular. I have to say though, my favourite was the Chobe Elephant Camp ( so I’m pleased we didn’t do the trip in reverse..;-) )

Brilliant Safari in South Africa
Thanks to Chris at Travel Africa Your Way who found the right safari tour for me at very short notice. As a solo female traveller, first time in Africa, my focus was on seeing as much wildlife as I could in the 5 days I had available (after a conference in Johannesburg). Chris suggested a short flight to Hoedspruit and transfer to Africa on Foot – where I stayed in one of 5 huts. I loved the place, and the wildlife did not disappoint! All the staff were friendly, and the knowledgeable guides were a sheer delight to hang out with as they introduced me to wildebeest, warthogs, cute hyena pups (yes, very cute), zebras, rhinos, hippos, lions, tons of birds, kudus, impalas, giraffes, elephants, night owls, a genet and so much more. With a modest holiday budget I was treated to beyond-expectation accommodation, gourmet food, sunset drinks, pool, lounge, and outdoor fire. Thanks Chris! I now want to see more of Africa!

A True Experience
We found Chris online and are very glad that we did. Chris booked 3 safari parks with connecting light planes, accommodation and tours in Victoria Falls, road transfers where needed and connecting domestic flights. Nothing could have been smoother. We were met at each point and totally looked after.Initially we did not have the knowledge to decide which safari parks to go to. We simply knew we wanted to go to Botswana. Chris helped us make up our minds with information and advice. He was always at the end of the phone to answer our queries and ease our minds. Nothing was too much trouble. The safari parks he chose showed his knowledge of the area. They were superb and we had wonderful experiences tracking the animals and returning to comfortable camps afterwards.We can certainly recommend Chris and Sandy at Travel Africa …your way

Travelling in Africa at its best
We have just completed our 5th African trip all organised by Chris & Sandie from Travel Africa. We’ve been to South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Eswatini(Swaziland) and Zimbabwe across these trips. Everything has been super well organised and the attention to detail is always exacting which is exactly what you need when travelling in Africa. We have done a nice mix of self driving, rest camps, luxury safari camps, bed & breakfasts, self catering apartments (in Cape Town) and on the last trip just concluded we stayed at a hotel in Cape Town for a change. We cannot recommend Travel Africa highly enough they have been wonderful, understand the country where they have been many many times and pass on the knowledge gained.

Far exceeded our expectations
Best decision we made for our Africa trip was appointing Travel Africa as our booking agents. Even though I was born and raised in South Africa, we would NEVER have had the awesome experience we had, if it weren’t for Sandie and Chris. In short, they were incredible! The itineraries were extremely professional, well constructed, and the trip flowed super smoothly from start to finish for the full 2 month adventure! They put us in the most incredible lodges that far far exceeded our expectations time and time again…and everything came in on budget. Their attention to detail is second to non and there is no way that our trip would have been as enjoyable and successful had it not been for their knowledge, guidance and expertise.I cannot recommend Travel Africa highly enough! They were the difference between a nice holiday and the best holiday ever!

South Africa family trip with teens
Travel Africa arranged the trip of a lifetime for us to South Africa. We saw more than we’d ever hoped to see, and they listened and provided the trip based on everything WE wanted (and that would have taken a lot of patience with covid and multiple date changes involved!).It was the perfect combination of lodges and self drive . The instructions for driving , suggested routes and useful info along the way was extremely helpful. It was the best family bonding experience we could have ever hoped for, the teens loved it-even when there was no wifi .Our stay at Kruger was amazing and we absolutely loved the accomodation you booked for us.Our highlights were seeing wild dogs and a rhino on our self drives , and our entire stay at Ekuthuleni lodge for our last few nights . I’m so glad you suggested that, as we all agreed those last three nights there were the icing on the cake! It is absolutely the best place to see rhinos and the whole trip was absolutely perfect
